What is Samuel D's?
Samuel D's Restaurant is the student laboratory restaurant of the
Plattsburgh State University Department of Hotel, Restaurant, and
Tourism Management.
Where is Samuel D's located?
Samuel D's is located in the west wing of Sibley Hall at 113 Rugar Street on the Plattsburgh State campus. A map is available on the Samuel D's web site.
Is Samuel D's open to students?
Samuel D's is open to students. However, at present, meal plans are not accepted.

Although Samuel D's at present focuses on the Plattsburgh State campus community, Samuel D's is open to the public.
What type of service is available at Samuel D's?
Currently, Samuel D's serves lunch on Tuesdays, dinner on Thursdays, and hosts a daily take-out each weekday morning. Soon to come will be Wednesday afternoon Networking Sessions.

Samuel D's is now licensed to sell alcoholic beverages. Patrons may purchase alcoholic beverages from
the Samuel D's selection. Patrons may not bring their own alcoholic beverages to meals. Samuel D's reserves the right to check identification for legal age.
What is appropriate attire for visiting Samuel D's?
Business casual is appropriate dress for Samuel D's.
Why are reservations required at Samuel D's?
Unlike commercial restaurants, Samuel D's is a student laboratory
which serves a limited menu and currently serves only one meal of
each type per week. While commercial restaurants which fail to
correctly estimate food needs can carry extra food over to
subsequent meals, it is not possible to do so at Samuel D's.
Is parking available at Samuel D's?
There are several parking lots surrounding the Sibley Building. Parking should be available during normal College business hours (6:00 am to 5:00 pm) by appropriate parking permit. Unregistered vehicles on college related business may use the parking areas during other non-restricted hours.
Does Samuel D's accept Cardinal Cash?
Samuel D's now accepts Cardinal Cash in the same manner as
off-campus merchants who also accept Cardinal Cash.
Does Samuel D's do special events or catering?
Samuel D's does not currently host special events or do catering. Please see the appropriate part of the Samuel D's web site.
